One of the most important aspect of this game is that you may decide your own future, when you start gaming, and here you decide as well the breed of game you will play: if you decide to act as a bad kid, you will became a thief or so in the next future, but, on the other hand, if you choose to be a good boy then you will became a positive hero, and you will save the world.
Whether you are bad or good is the decision that you have to consider first: murdering villangers will send you fastly down an evil path, and people in the game will notice it, and they will prompt you with comments on regard.
The guards will get upset with you murdering the townsfolk, and they will make a fine: you may refuse and choose to be on the bad side of <-- admin -->
The game begins and you are a kid, and there you may help another kid to find out puppet she has lost; in such a way you will be prized with gold as a reward, and you will take the path to become a positive hero.
Instead, if you do not help people during the game starts, or if you stole stuff of someone has left you to watch, you will became a thief, and you will be on the side of the bad boys. An evil action makes you to belong to this category, and if you act as a thief, you will have no more access to the school for positive heroes called the Hero's Guild.
If you start on the side of good people, as you are a kid, you are taken away from your native village, where you spent your chilwood, because this vilalge has been saked. You are taken to a castle to face the training to become an hero and save the world. You will enter the famed Hero's Guild, an association of heroes, but before you will have to perform hard trials, as fighting with a stick against an adversary of your age, and then do it again with a sword. Plus, you will be trained to use your magic power launching thunders.
At the moment you are progressed from childhood to your twenties, and after the trials you rapidly progress through your training. Now you may perform experiences similar to the real ones: you may get married or divorced, and you may have your hair cut. Here the influences of the game The Sims into this game are cleary evident. Leaning on your sucesses and failings on the quests you find as playing the game, people around you will respond appropiately, and as your reputation grows, you are cheered as you pass.
At the Hero's Guild you are instructed by the Guildmaster, that acts as your mentor. You are trained according to mode of a hero, and you are going to be ready for the ultimate quest. This quest will determine who was behind that fateful day in Oakvale, your native town, when the village was destroyed as you were a kid. You remember that, and the only way to have a revenge is by being a hero at Hero's Guild.
Fable is at first a role playing game, also if it controls more like an action adventure game: the left stick controls character and also perform as a zoom function when pressed once. Tapping up or down on the right stck will zoom the camera in and out. As a player of a character that does not speak, you may interact with the others in Albion through assorted body and facial motions: you may take a farting expression for your enemies, or you may laugh.
As you will discover during the game, the person you may interact with in Albion, are highlighted in a colour: if a villager has something useful to say to you, he/she will be surronded by a purple haze, and if an object can be picked up or read, it will be highlighted blue. Buddies are red, and if they have something to sell you, they turn green. The same if they have something interesting to say to you.
About the command in Fable, I may say that you can lock onto the nearest being with a quick pull of the L trigger, and if you do press the white button you may draw your sword, and you may start hacking away with the X button.
Hit A to jab enemies with a stronger attack. The arching system is quite good: you can let arrows rip by drawing the bow with the black button and locking onto the target with the L trigger, then hit X to launch the dard. The more you hold down the button, the more powerful will be your dard, and the more damage it will cause.
The other aspect of the combat system is indeed the magic arts, and here spells can be assigned to the four face buttons, but to access these, you have to hold onto the R trigger. The combat systems are strenght, skill and will, and these can be upgraded by using experience points: you earn experience points as you do an action that concerns you path to beacame a positive hero.
The game does not last more than eight hours to complete but if you stretch out all the performance you may do, the game may be last up to twenty hours: this because sometimes you have the chance to repeat actions you did previously.
